Millennium City 1 Hoarding – A Floating Office Reimagined
As part of the facade renovation of Millennium City 1 in Hong Kong, I developed a large-scale hoarding system designed to grab attention from both street level and the elevated train station across the road. The concept used forced perspective and 3D-rendered office objects to create the illusion of items floating out of the building — echoing the site's physical elevation and capturing the spirit of transformation.
Spanning over 90 meters, each panel was crafted to reflect the professional nature of the building while using playful, minimalist messaging like “COMING SOON” and “BRAND NEW LOOK” to announce change. The vivid, gradient backgrounds and realistic lighting were designed for high visual impact even from a distance.
The design was so well received it inspired a sequel: Millennium City 5 adopted the same visual language for its own renovation campaign.
